GATEWAY VILLAGE BLOCK PARTY POSTPONED

Dear Residents,

        On behalf of the acting Gateway Village HOA Board Members the decision has been made to temporarily postpone the 1^st annual Gateway Village Block Party until sometime in October due to the weather coming at us presently and anticipated over the next couple of weeks or so.  Presently, the committee has collected a cumulative total of $440.00 dollars and would like to retain those funds for the same purpose.  For those still desiring to attend the event in October and haven’t for whatever reason made the asking $30.00 contribution per house hold, now is the time to do so through the online portal at http://gatewayvillage.org/blockparty.html  or in person at our October HOA meeting.  More updates and information will be provided following the commencement of the October 6, 2018, 10:00am HOA meeting at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery located at 3A Gateway Blvd S, Savannah, GA 31419. GATEWAY VILLAGE BLOCK PARTY UPDATE

All Concerned,

      Bishop Wilson and I have been talking over the past couple of days about the block party that is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Sept 15, 2018, 11:00am-2:00pm.  Additionally, we are aware of Hurricane Florence and tracking it’s movement and the weather it brings with it.  There is still a very good possibility that it, along with the wind and rain, may bypass the Savannah region altogether.  Praise God.  Therefore, the final determination on wither or not Saturday will be a go or not will be made Thursday.  Let us not forget that our alternate date chosen by the Block Party Committee still is Sept 22, 2018 during the same time frame.  Our present total funding is $360.00 which is far from where we intended to be by this date.  Anyway, several persons have stated they would be willing to make additional monetary contributions to the overall success of this event because they would just love to see the community come together.  For some of us, it’s not about the cost as much as it is about the fellowship and getting our community together.  Please, if you are one of those people that would consider making an additional contribution, please do so through the online portal so that we, as a committee, will no definitely by this Thursday, Sept 9, 2018 how much funding will totally be available to us as a committee.  If you should have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.   More information will be following as the situation dedicates.  Thanks and have a bless day.
